The Daily Log
One page for the whole day. Tap Log in the navigation and you land on My Update — five sections, each a couple of taps, each saved the moment you act. No submit button at the end, no form to get through.
The idea
The Log is built for a visit a day — a rhythm, not a rule. The more days you keep, the more your momentum, sleep and mood have to draw their patterns from. The page is a stack of five collapsible sections — Sleep, Pitfalls, Momentum, Mood, Planner — with one open at a time, and every section saves independently and instantly.
If you've hidden a module in your profile, its section simply isn't on the page — the Log only ever shows what you actually track.
The five sections at a glance
| Section | What you log | How to erase |
|---|---|---|
| Sleep | A Sleep Score from 0–100 for a chosen night (plus Body Battery, if enabled). | Empty both fields and save. |
| Pitfalls | Per habit: Clean or Slipped for the day. | Tap Clear. |
| Momentum | Per tracker: Going or Broke for the day. | Tap Clear. |
| Mood | One of five bands, from Bad to Great. | Tap the active band again, or Clear. |
| Planner | Today's tasks, checked off as you finish them. | Uncheck a task; delete it inside its edit dialog. |
Sleep
Pick a night with the Pick date calendar — days that already have an entry carry a small dot tinted by their score band — then enter your Sleep Score (0–100) and, if you've enabled it in your profile, a Body Battery value (also 0–100).
- To erase a day, leave both fields empty and save.
- Future dates can't be logged. The night has to happen first.
What all those scores add up to lives on the Sleep page.
Pitfalls
The section shows one habit at a time — switch with the dropdown, or tap + New habit to add one: a name, an optional description, and a severity from Mild to Very Severe. You can track up to 6 habits.
For today, the decision is two cards: Clean or Slipped, with Clear to take the answer back. A Month history below lets you fill in days you missed. The full picture — clean rate, your hardest habit, the monthly report — is on the Pitfalls page.
Momentum
Momentum is the mirror image: streaks you're trying to keep alive. Switch trackers with the dropdown, or tap + New tracker to start one.
- Today's call is Going (streak alive) or Broke (streak reset), with Clear to erase.
- The Rule breakers list is where you define what actually breaks the streak — up to 10 per tracker.
- In Month history, tapping a day cycles it: no entry → Going → Broke → cleared.
Streak lengths, your record run, and the year grid live on the Momentum page.
Mood
The lightest section of all: five bands, one tap — Bad to Great. Choose the band that matches how the day felt; tap the active band again, or Clear, to erase it. Month history shows a calendar tinted by band — tap a past day to cycle it through the bands and back to empty. What the pattern looks like over the year is on the Mood page.
Planner
The busiest section, and the one place your daily list is actually managed: a Selected day surface for browsing and editing any day, today's tasks with check-off, a Plan tomorrow composer, one colour-coded label per task, and a per-task focus timer. The no-rollover rule, labels, the timer, and the floating dock are all covered in full in the Planner chapter.
Milestones is the one module you won't find here. Events aren't a daily log — you add and edit them on the Milestones page itself.
The Log follows your working year. When you switch to a past year there is no "today": Sleep, Mood, and Momentum default to December 31 of that year, the today-panels step aside, and the Planner shows only its Selected day surface — you browse and edit that year's days from there.
