Day to Day

Sleep

One number a night. Copy your Sleep Score from your smartwatch each morning, and over the weeks the page shows you what your sleep is actually doing — not what one rough night makes it feel like.

What you track

Sleep tracking in Nortefy is deliberately minimal: one score per night. There's no bedtime, wake time, or quality questionnaire — you copy the Sleep Score (0–100) your smartwatch or sleep tracker already calculated, and Nortefy does the pattern-finding.

Optionally, you can log a second number alongside it: Body Battery (0–100), Garmin's daily energy reading. Together the two answer a useful question — how the nights shape your energy.

Note

Body Battery is off by default and lives behind a switch in Profile, under the Sleep module. If your tracker doesn't support it, leave it off — every Body Battery element disappears from the app. Turning it off later keeps your old readings; they're hidden, not erased.

Logging a night

Sleep entry happens on the Daily Log page, in its Sleep section: pick the date and enter the score(s). Future dates are rejected — you can't log a night that hasn't happened — and to erase a day, clear both fields and save.

Good to know

A stored 0 counts as "not logged" — it's excluded from every average, streak, and bucket. If your watch genuinely reports a zero, know that Nortefy will read it as a missing night rather than a catastrophic one.

The score bands

Three bands drive everything on the Sleep page — badge colours, tints, and the distribution buckets:

BandScoreWhat it means
Good75 and above A solid night — the kind you want most nights to be.
Fair70 – 74 Close, but the recovery wasn't quite there.
BadBelow 70 A rough night. One is noise; a cluster is a pattern worth looking at.

Reading the Sleep page

The Sleep page in Reports is read-only — it turns your nightly numbers into the bigger picture:

SectionWhat it tells you
StatsThe hero is your Avg Sleep Score for the year, tinted by its band, with a Peak counter for your highest score. Beside it: Avg Body Battery with a meter bar (when enabled) and Good Sleep Nights — the percentage of logged nights scoring 75 or above. Below them sit your Best Month and Worst Month on record, by average score — only months with at least 15 logged readings are ranked, and the current month is excluded until it's complete, so a two-night month can't steal the crown.
Last 30 daysA line chart of the past thirty nights — Sleep Score, plus a second Body Battery line when it's enabled. The short window makes recent drift visible before the averages move.
DistributionEvery logged night sorted into the three bands — ≥ 75, 70 – 74, < 70 — with counts and percentages. The honest shape of your year, not just its average.
Daily LogA month-by-month table with a Month selector. Every day of the month is listed: logged nights show their scores with meter bars and a Good / Fair / Bad status badge; missing days sit dimmed with a "—", so gaps stay visible instead of disappearing.
