Day to Day
Planner
What each week should hold — two cardio sessions, three lifting sessions, two yoga classes — with a dot per session, filled in whenever they happen.
The idea
Some things aren't about a particular day. You want to run twice this week, lift three times, call your parents once — whenever they fit. The Planner holds those as weekly goals: a name and a number of times for one Monday-to-Sunday week. Each goal shows a dot per session; you fill one in each time it happens.
An unmet goal is information, not failure. A week that came up short simply stays as it was — nothing rolls over, nothing turns red, and the next week starts clean.
Until October 2026 the Planner also held a daily to-do list — tasks, subtasks, parts of the day, anchors, routines, labels, a focus timer and a floating dock. That part was removed, along with its data; the Planner is now weekly goals only — your goals and week plans are untouched.
Where it lives
You do in the Log and you read on the Planner page:
The Daily Log
The Planner section of the Log page is where goals are set and sessions logged, for this week or any other.
Planner page
A read-only report: how many weeks were complete, how many goals were met, the sessions logged, and a card per week with its dots.
Setting goals for the week
In the Log's Planner section, the This week block lists the week's goals. Tap New goal, give it a name and how many times this week (1–14). A week holds up to 12 goals.
- Editing. Tap a goal's name to rename it, change its target (never below the sessions already logged), or delete it.
- Reordering. Drag a goal's grip to move it up or down the week — or focus the grip and use the arrow keys.
Logging a session
Tap an empty dot and a session is logged on the Selected day — today, unless you've stepped to another day. The dot fills and shows the weekday it happened on. Reaching the target chimes and the goal turns green. Tap a filled dot to take that session back.
- Back-filling. Forgot yesterday's run? Step back a day with the arrows (or pick one from Pick date) and tap. A clay dot in the calendar marks days that already hold a session.
- Other weeks. The block follows the selected day, so stepping past a Monday shows that week — Last week, Next week, or any other. You can set up goals for a future week, but sessions only land on today or earlier.
Week plans — weeks that repeat
A week plan is a named set of goals — a "Training week" of Cardio × 2, Weights × 3, Yoga × 2 — added to a week in one tap. Tap Week plans next to New goal to see yours; Add copies a plan onto the week in view.
- Building one. New week plan takes a name and up to 12 goals, each with its times per week. Already shaped a week you'd like to reuse? Copy from this week fills the list for you. You can keep up to 12 week plans a year — they belong to your working year.
- Suggested every week. Leave Suggest every week on and each new week opens with a quiet Add · Skip row for it. Answer once and it stops asking for that week.
- Nothing happens on its own. A plan never fills a week by itself — adding is always your tap. And adding copies the goals: edit or delete the plan later and the weeks that already used it stay exactly as they were.
- No doubles. A goal the week already has is skipped, so adding a plan twice is harmless.
Reading the Planner page
The Planner page in Reports is where the pattern becomes visible:
| Card | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Weeks Complete | Of the weeks with goals, how many had every goal met. |
| Goals Met | How many goals reached their target. |
| Sessions | Every session logged this year. |
| Week by Week | A card per week that has begun, newest first — each goal with its dots, marked with the day each session happened. Six show at first; Show all reveals the rest. |
The current week only counts once it's complete or over — an open week is never a miss.
The Planner is scoped to your working year. A week belongs to the year its Thursday falls in, so a week that straddles New Year lives in exactly one year — the Log tells you when the week in view belongs to the other one. When you're viewing a past year, the day picker starts on 1 January and week plans aren't suggested.
