Privacy Policy

The short version

Nortefy is a personal dashboard. Everything you write in it — habits, sleep, mood, milestones, plans — belongs to you. We store it only so the app works, we don't sell it, we don't run ads, and we don't use third-party trackers. You can export or permanently delete everything yourself, at any time, from your profile.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address, a display name, and a hashed password (or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google).
• Content you create — the data you enter into Nortefy's modules: habits and pitfalls, sleep and mood logs, milestones, momentum entries, journal lines, daily plans, purpose and direction notes, and personal settings. This can include sensitive wellbeing information; enter only what you are comfortable storing.
• Technical data — a session token kept in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioural tracking data.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database operated by Supabase, which also provides authentication. Row-level security ensures your rows are readable only by your account. The site itself is served by Netlify. Transactional email (signup confirmation, onboarding notes, password resets) is delivered through Resend. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google acts as your sign-in provider. These are our only sub-processors.

Cookies and local storage

Nortefy uses your browser's local storage for your session token and small preferences (such as your selected working year and cached page data). There are no third-party cookies and no cross-site tracking.

How long we keep it

For as long as you keep your account. When you delete your account (Profile → Delete account), all of your rows in every table and your authentication record are permanently removed. This is immediate and irreversible.

Your rights

• Access & portability — export all of your data as CSV files from Profile → Export.
• Erasure — delete your account and all data from Profile → Delete account.
• Rectification — everything in Nortefy is directly editable by you.
• Questions or requests — reach us through the contact page and we'll respond as quickly as we can.
